CLE Event Lunches:
Unless otherwise specified, we will provide lunch during our CLE events as follows:

Subway variety sandwich trays, chips, cookies and a beverage for $10 per person. Special gluten free/vegetarian options are available as well.

RSVP’s must be sent to Bill Biggs so that we have an accurate head count and should be sent no later than 48 hours before the event.

NOTE: If you RSVP for a lunch and do not attend the meeting, the section will bill you for the cost of the meal.

Welcome to the Solo/ Small Firm Section of the
Austin Bar Association - Austin, Texas!

Mission

The Solo/ Small Firm section is designed to support solo and small firm attorneys in the practice of law. The section seeks to perpetuate the highest standards of legal service, professionalism and collegiality within the legal profession and local legal community. As a result, we provide several opportunities for Continuing Legal Education (CLE), networking, and community service throughout each year.

We actively encourage solo/ small firm practitioners to join our section in order to enjoy the numerous benefits that a membership provides. Vision

  • Work in conjunction with the Austin Bar and other Associations to further common projects related to the legal profession.
  • Provide liaison and opportunity for professional development for members of the bench and bar who are engaged in or have an interest in solo and small firm practice.
  • Provide continuing legal education.
