You: interested in process improvement, wants to learn automation, prefers to skip the instruction manual and do it live. Me: your enabler, shows you how to immediately start automating your most time consuming and annoying work chores. In this automation talk we’ll briefly cover the core principles of how to think like a process improver and how to identify and break down processes that are ripe for automation. Then, we’ll walk through a practical demonstration detailing every step of automating a typical client relations chore.
This presentation outlines the ethical obligations requiring cybersecurity measures for all lawyers practicing in Texas, provides an overview of the components of an information security program, and describes specific settings for Windows and MacOS devices that solo and small firm lawyers can enable to make their practice more secure. The emphasis is on actionable measures that users of all levels can implement.
You are not your customers! Business owners, including solo attorneys, often fall into traps by assuming that the people who need their services look and act just like them. This can lead to marketing plans and strategies that are not effective -- costing you time, money and causing you a lot of frustration.
The best way to start a marketing plan is to understand your customers. With some simple techniques and an open-mind, you can learn about your customers and use that knowledge to drive more clients.
Panelists will answer questions on a wide array of practice arrangements and marketing strategies. Audience members will be encourage to share any innovative practices they use as well.
